Dr. Rocha is a bay area native; where she has been practicing orthodontics for the past eight years. She was the first in her family to pursue higher education, starting at UCSD where she received the highest GPA in her major. She then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Rocha was then one of eight residents admitted to University of the Pacific, where she received a masters degree and in depth training in orthodontics. Dr. Rocha received numerous awards over the course of her many years in college and graduate school.
Dr. Rocha also uses her expertise to enrich philanthropy; in one instance, Dr. Rocha traveled to Honduras to provide free dental treatment to the local underserved communities. She loves the opportunity to participate in local health fairs and any opportunity to mentor and connect to the community.
Dr. Rocha began her orthodontic career only a week after graduating and she hasn’t stopped since. (“The longer I practice, the more I fall in love with what I do!”) From her years in training and practice, Dr. Rocha is a leader in her field in treating patients of all ages and using both braces and clear aligners. Her favorite part of the job is building long term relationships with her patients and coworkers.
Dr. Rocha believes every patient has individual needs, and their orthodontic plan and care should reflect that. Orthodontics is more than a beautiful smile- having your teeth in a healthy position sets a patient up for a lifetime of improved dental health.
Outside of the office, Dr. Rocha loves discovering new parks with her husband and their three year old son Jayden and one year old daughter Maya. When not caring for her kids, you will find her running half marathons with her sisters, listening to audiobooks or true crime podcasts, and exploring new restaurants with friends and family.
Dr. Rocha is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the Marin County Dental Society.
